How to Update Chrome os
Automatic
· Chromebooks will check for System Updates automatically after they are powered on and connected to the internet for a few minutes.
· If a newer version is available, it will be downloaded in the background.
· When download is complete, a Notification will appear above the clock.
Manually
· Click on the time at the lower right of the screen.
· Click on the gear for Settings. The cursor will be in the Search box.
· Type update, then select Check for update, click on Check for update.
· We want to see “Your Chromebook is up to date”. If not, download the update.
· When download is complete, a Notification will appear above the clock, per above
