Reminders
Wearing masks is required throughout your interactions with Tax-Aide volunteers. If you are unwilling to wear a mask, you must go elsewhere for your tax preparation.
Please do not come to the site if you have any COVID Symptoms. If you have symptoms, leave a message at 406.285.1131 and we will work with you to reschedule your appointment.
Please remember, the volunteers who are on site during open hours are there only to assist taxpayers with scheduled appointments. They are not available to answer questions or otherwise assist taxpayers. This is for everyone's safety during the pandemic.
In order for us to prepare your taxes, you will need to leave your documents with us. While we would prefer you leave copies with us, we will accept original documents. We will schedule a time for you to return to pick up your completed return.
If you do not return for your pick-up appointment and we can not get in touch with you, your documents will be destroyed.
Forms
The forms you will need to fill out before your appointment depend upon your situation. These forms are available at the site or you may download them here and bring them with you.
All Taxpayers:
Please complete the General Information Sheet and the Intake Booklet. We also need you to review and sign IRS Document 14446 for Missoula or Hamilton.
Additional Forms:
If needed, you can fill out the Itemized Deduction Worksheet, the Self-Employment Worksheet or the Education Credit Worksheet. Filling these out will help us to make sure that we minimize your taxes.
